Nairobi nasce dall’incontro tra Andrea Siddu alla batteria (già Plasma Expander, Vanvera, Trees of Mint, Kid Millions/Man Forever e Damo Suzuki Network), Giorgio Scarano alla chitarra (Ice Pick Experimental Trio) e Leonardo Gatto al basso (We were OnOff).

Musicisti provenienti da due grandi isole molto diverse tra loro: la misteriosa Venezia e l'inespugnabile Sardegna. Musica di mare, terra, istinto animale e volontà di esprimersi in un linguaggio universale.

Dopo un rodaggio sui palco dello Stivale – con aperture, tra gli altri, per Giorgio Canali & Rossofuoco, Mombu, Soviet Soviet – Nairobi è il primo omonimo album: un muro di suono composto da otto tracce interamente strumentali, dense di melodie angolari.
